Electrical Equipment Company is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Engineer

Inside Sales Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. As a subject matter expert, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support to our customers. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate electrical products, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation:
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their electrical systems requirements and challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers in selecting the most suitable products and solutions.
  • Assist in the development of custom solutions to meet unique customer specifications.
Product Knowledge:
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in power distribution and motor control systems and technologies.
Quotation and Proposal Development:
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations based on customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Develop compelling proposals that address customer needs and showcase the value of our solutions.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical issues, and product-related questions.
Sales Support:
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and contribute to overall sales strategy.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a minimum of 5 years experience in industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of industrial electrical products and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Ofice and Adobe applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software for managing customer interactions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to successfully work autonomously.
  • Travel as needed.
